Associate Fellow (Non-Resident)

Bio

Tanya Gupta is an Associate Fellow at the India-Israel Centre, where her work focuses on technology, security, and sustainable and inclusive development within the broader India-Israel strategic landscape.

She is a Senior Policy Associate at the Digital India Foundation, working across AI and blockchain in governance, digital safety, consent management, and the broader landscape of global technology policy. Her published research and papers cover areas such as asset tokenisation, online gaming regulations, and consent management in India.

Tanya has engaged in policy dialogues across institutional forums including CSEP, USIBC, the Indian Blockchain Forum, and the Digital Economist. She has also spoken at and moderated sessions at the 2026 India Think Tank Forum organised by the Observer Research Foundation.

She holds degrees in Political Science and History from Miranda House, University of Delhi, and in Development Studies, bringing an intersectional approach to her work across technology governance and international development.
